MS-CRE Travel Awards

MS Connections 2026-6

About the awards

The MS Centre of Research Excellence (MS-CRE) Travel Awards support researchers and other members of our MS-CRE community to access conferences, training opportunities, collaborative placements and professional development experiences that strengthen their skills and contribute to the advancement of multiple sclerosis research. By enabling award recipients to share their work, learn from experts and build new connections, the awards help foster a vibrant and connected MS research community.

A key focus of the awards is building collaboration and accelerating research translation. Award recipients are encouraged to engage with national and international research networks, develop partnerships across academic, clinical, industry and community settings, and gain insights that can help translate research discoveries into real-world impact for people living with MS.

The Travel Awards form part of the MS-CRE's broader commitment to developing future research leaders, strengthening Australia's MS research capacity and accelerating progress towards making MS a disease without disability.
